I have this big project filled out for my mom's Christmas present because I literally have no money. Ok, so I have maybe $20, but still. You can't buy anything for that. Not anything good anyways.
I was thinking of getting a composition notebook, painting it, throwing a cool design on the front, and then filling it with poems I wrote. I figure the poems don't all have to be about her--good Lord, that would take forever--but could be about her and the ones that I really, really like. And it's all going to be handwritten. Which will suck. Because I hate writing. And you can't read my handwriting. And I love double-sided sticky tape.
And this is why I'm thinking about Christmas this early. If I'm going to get this done, plus school, plus this other project I may or may not have going on, it's going to take a looong while.
So what do you think? Do you all think it's a...cool? kind? gift to give? and not something that screams "LOL I HAZ NO MONEY, BUT I MADE YOU THIS, LOLOL"?
It's a good thing Mom doesn't know about DA, other than what I've told her...
I've been really bored lately. I dunno. I've started to hang out with Mom more. I don't go on any of the sites I used to. Everything's kinda...lost interest for me.
Except for Cyanide and Happiness. What would I do without you? And comix.
I don't even have homework to distract me. I'm really wishing my Spanish teacher will turn back into the raging monster she usually is and assign us a bunch of worksheets. It's not the same without her getting mad at us. I dunno. No homework, no computer means a lot of CSI. And wandering around the house wondering what to do. And Wheel of Time. My God that series is amazing. I forgot how much I loved it.
(On a side note, I'd love to have the seasons of CSI. Not CSI Miami though. Pleh.)
And ohgodtvtropes. There's been a lot of TVTropes. There's always a lot of TVTropes.
